When you learned about “Confirmation bias,” your first thought was that this totally explained how some other guy could be so completely wrong.
You did, didn’t you?
…at least, I hope it wasn’t just me.

Not with me, I tend to be hyper self aware. Not that I am even remotely not guilty of it many times, I think it is an ongoing stugle that we will all have to fight till the day we die.
I did read a WONDERFUL book that was still very eye opening and made me really realize it was an even bigger problem then I ever thought. “Mistakes were made(But not by me) by Caroll Tavris.
Truly a problem with our thinking but then who doesn’t want only the evidence that fits neatly with their preconceptions? I feel objectivity is an elusive state.
